Student Energy is a global youth-led organization empowering the next generation of leaders who are accelerating the transition to a sustainable, equitable energy future. Student Energy is active in 130 countries and works with a network of 50,000 young people to build the knowledge, skills, and networks they need to take action on energy. Student Energy collaborates with governments, companies, and organizations to facilitate meaningful youth engagement and mobilize resources to support youth-led energy solutions.
With 14 years of youth engagement experience, Student Energy hosts 10 skill-building, educational, career training and project development training programs. Core programs include a groundbreaking digital Energy System Map that has reached over 3 million visitors, a global network of university-based Chapters and six international summits. The International Student Energy Summit is now the largest youth-led energy conference in the world. In 2019, Student Energy held its largest Summit yet, bringing together 650 students from almost 100 countries, more than double our numbers from the first summit in 2009.
