Vision of the Summit
Today, we are Reimagining the Future. To reimagine the future, we need to examine the present. With all of its developments and technologies, the present world would not have been possible without the efforts of bright and innovative minds. However, as much of the world tackles poverty and energy scarcity, this development was based on the exploitation of people and the natural environment.
The climate crisis is the greatest challenge facing humanity. It is a challenge that impacts us all, especially future generations. We must all work together to create solutions and opportunities for an equitable and more sustainable future.
Uniting as a global youth community at SES 2023 will enable us to reimagine ways of living. We will reimagine our industries and collaborate on innovative ideas for sustainable pathways. We will reimagine policies and consider how they can promote an equitable energy future, allowing our communities to thrive. We will understand how everyone has a duty to improve our world; addressing the structural inequities embedded in current economic and social systems. Most importantly, we will reimagine the role of young people in tomorrow's clean energy systems. We will Reimagine the Future.
